WCPT announces new corporate partner
HUR, a WCPT corporate partner, believes in the importance of strength training in rehabilitation.

Muscular weakness in aging adults whose numbers are markedly increasing all over the world is pervasive. Evidence-based research increasingly supports the importance, safety and efficacy of strength training in the prevention and management of chronic diseases and for rehabilitation. Maintenance of adequate muscular strength across the lifespan may be the most crucial factor in healthy aging, reflecting a better quality of life with self-efficacy being a critical ingredient. The global physical therapy community is the key player in facilitating the transfer of this message into clinical practice. Please read more about this important topic from Dr Arto Hautala, Adjunct Professor of Physiotherapy and HUR, Director of Research and Education: http://bit.ly/2tdtrpA
